Part-Time Telesales Positions - Shanghai - China

This job purpose is accountable for long-term profitable growth of the company’s wood protection business in China. This includes achieving the business objectives and returns through the development, and subsequent implementation of sound sales and marketing strategies.


Job Responsibilities:

• prepare sales strategies and marketing plans to improve sales volume and profitability in China in line with global strategy
• identify potential new market segments and new customers for the business
• maintain market intelligence on competitors’ activities, pricing & products, and regulatory development
• accountable for the management and development of key customer
• responsibility for sales budget and forecast of all preservative chemicals in China
• promote the company as the leading wood preservation firm to specifiers, academic institutions, builders, timber merchants and government/local authorities


Key Requirements:

• significant sales experience in chemical industry
• preferably a degree holder in chemistry/ forestry or sales/marketing
• initiative and resourcefulness
• good communication skills
• conversant in Chinese and English
• additional knowledge of Japanese or Korean would be an advantage
