Regional Marketing/Training Manager – Asia - Singapore

Responsibilities: Plan, develop, implement and analyze innovative and competitive marketing strategies for global school products. Research, analyze, and monitor educational, pedagogical, financial, technological, and demographic factors in order to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.

Conduct and utilize market research to feed back the unique needs of each market to the US, UK and local publishing teams. Provide market information to help with the development of products that will meet the needs of a broader audience.
Perform product and service training for Pearson products sold into the K-12 Schools market
Collaborate with sales and marketing staff from other regions and channels to brainstorm innovative marketing strategies and share best practices.

Requirements: Degree qualified with 5 years’ of sales and marketing and/or teacher-training background (preferably from within the publishing industry)

K-8 product experience; highly desirable with a proven track record of revenue growth.
He/she will have experience with the selling process in our business while ideally covering a range of products that include print, e-commerce, digital and/or service products.
Candidate must possess strong collaboration and team work skills and the ability to influence beyond responsibility.
Sensitivity in dealing with diverse cultures and business protocol.
