2,000 New Turkish Lira (TRY) per Month
We are looking for two Native English teachers for a branch of a well established language course (Dilko) in Istanbul. The positions are due to start in mid September. We have mainly adult students as well as children. We will provide a shared flat. The salary is about 2000 Turkish Liras ($1500) per month for 25 lessons a week. (Extra payment for additional teaching hours.)
REQUIREMENTS
• Age: 25-40
• Nationality: Native-speakers from USA, Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand only.
• Bachelor degree plus TESOL / TEFL / CELTA certification
• Good physical and mental health.

Details: English Time is a language school that has provided English Language education in Turkey since 1998. It has 15 branches in İstanbul, with branches in Izmit, Ankara, London, Toronto and Las Vegas. Currently there are about 5000 students and over 200 native English speaking teachers in total.
We are looking for certified native English speaking part time and full time teachers for immediate and future positions in Turkey. Teachers must have a university degree and a TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certificate. Experience is preferred.

Part time teachers are only paid for hours taught.

• Full time teachers are paid a rent allotment of 300 YTL per month or housing in the lojman (teacher dorm) as per lojman agreement ,100 US dollars per month bonus for the length of the contract, and travel reimbursement dependent on location of home country and length of contract ranging from 400 US dollars to 800 US dollars. Amount for travel reimbursement would be set during the interview process. Bonus and travel are paid at completion of contract.

Bilkent University School of English Language, Faculty Academic English Program is seeking highly qualified instructors of credit bearing first-year English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses for Spring Semester, 2009. These are non-tenure track positions with an initial contract of two years, renewable annually upon mutual agreement. Successful applicants are expected to use an interactive teaching style that promotes critical thinking.
Bilkent University School of English Language is dedicated to life-long learning. It provides instructors with a professional, stimulating place to work and offers opportunities for further professional development. Instructors are required to teach three classes each semester (15 contact hours per week). In their first semester each instructor teaches English 101. The FAE Program also offers English 102 and other more advanced EAP courses, which instructors may be asked to teach in following semesters.
English 101 and 102 aim at building academic English language skills through content-based instruction (CBI). These courses require students to read and analyze academic texts, plan and compose academic essays, engage in independent research projects, plan and deliver oral presentations, participate in academic discussions, develop their language and skills proficiency as learners of a foreign language, and improve their critical thinking ability.
