Deputy Director, Medical School Project
Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, Medical School Project, you will be part of a team supporting the President. You will undertake background research as well as support the development of new initiatives and projects to further the establishment and development of the Imperial College-NTU Medical School. You are expected to conduct research into policy matters, prepare quality synthesis papers and reports, organise meetings and events, provide the secretariat (including preparation of minutes) to senior committees, liaise with external parties, including local and foreign organisations, ministries, and educational institutions, and undertake general administration duties where necessary.

Requirements:
A good Honours degree from a reputable University with a Master of Science degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of work experience in senior project management, with acknowledged evidence of high level output
Excellent command of the English language with excellent writing skills and good presentation and communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office software and electronic databases
A good working knowledge of Singaporean national research and education structures and institutions (especially those linked with NTU), and of international science and education policy
An acknowledged ability to work both within a team and independently within the context of objectives set by the Director, Medical School Project, and the President
Ability to work to changing deadlines and priorities in a dynamic environment
Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with the academic management and administration. Prior working experience in the public sector, particularly the health care sector, will be advantageous.
