Communications Associate - Institute of Governance Studies - BRAC University - Dhaka

Job Description / Responsibility
REPORTS TO:

The communications associate will assist the Team Leader to plan, develop and implement outreach & communications activities, specifically all planned activities under the IDRC grant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are the priorities of the communications associate:
Assist the IDRC project teams in developing outreach and communications activities, especially in converting research products into communicative materials
Develop, Maintain and update mailing lists of all potential target audiences
Assist in developing communications materials to support fund raising and PR (newsletter, media briefs and other audio, video, communication materials);
Assist to develop media productions, information packs, including press kits, IGS fact sheets, press releases, newsletters etc;
Develop and edit content for website, other media and coordinate maintenance of web site;

Educational Requirements
University degree in arts or social science subjects;

Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Minimum three years relevant experience;
Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bangla;
Strong writing skills and ability to edit contents and produce reports quickly;
Excellent public relations and communications skills.
