Teaching Assistant - East Sussex County Council - Heathfield - UK

Teaching Assistants (Special Educational Needs)
Due to the expansion of the Learning Support Department there will be vacancies arising.
The successful applicant will work in the classroom with students across the whole age and ability range including those with physical disabilities and those on the Autistic Spectrum. Heathfield Community College has specialist provision for students on the Autistic Spectrum.
Ideally applicants will be educated to A Level/NVQ 3 standard or have experience of Teaching Assistant work with evidence of further study.

We are not able to obtain Work Permits for this post as it has not been classified by the Home Office as shortage skilled occupation. This is in line with Home Office Guidance. Most posts will not attract a work permit as they will not be considered difficult to recruit to posts.
