Retail Training Executive - Town - Singapore

Responsibilities:
Conduct product knowledge training for staff
Identify needs and conduct training (soft skills) for retail staff
Visit stores and drive training in-store during these visits through example as well as training materials
Conduct induction programs for newcomers.
Coordinate with HR to ensure that any legal adaptation of training (e.g. induction/manager training) is completed
Work closely with marketing teams to create a market training calendar that directly supports the Commercial calendar, ensuring capacity for product and event training at key times
Work closely with market teams to understand event plan and the focus that should be incorporated into event training material
Conduct relevant training, drawing on International training offered and adapting as required
Responsible for maintaining detailed knowledge on product, selling and training techniques
Liaise with International Product and Retail Training Academy on detailed information on product.
Monitor coverage of training materials and work with the Commercial and Operations team to understand the returns driven by initiatives in market
Manage mystery shopper program and use results to evaluate training effectiveness and identify gaps.
Feedback findings and training delivered to Retail training academy as well as Commercial and Operations teams.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Education/Teaching/Training, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of stand- up training experience preferably in beauty and/or cosmetic products.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Training & Development or equivalent. Job role in Training & Development or equivalent.
