Head - School of Environmental Health-Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia

Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the School and supervise the academic staff. Initiate the new course, plan course curricula and develop modules for diploma and degree level. Prepare MQA documentation for approval. Teach core subject in the area of his/her expertise. Ensure continuous content development of all modules to keep abreast with current issues and new development. Evaluate effectiveness of training/teaching methods and make necessary recommendations to the Senate for improvements. Conduct research and gather data on source content offered by local and foreign universities and education technology trends in tertiary education industry.
Requirements: Bachelor/Master degree in Environmental Health, OR health-related degree PLUS Diploma in Environmental Health. Minimum 5 years of working experience in teaching at tertiary level. Must have proven track record in managing required area of work.
Strong organizational skills with ability to work as a team player. Possesses initiative, the ability to act independently and a passion for academic excellence. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with strong command in spoken and written English.
Minimum 3 years experiences in the relevant industry (Health Inspectors, Health Officers, Laboratories, and Product Specialists) are most preferable.
