Teacher/Assistant Teacher - Singapore

Reporting directly to the Senior Teacher/Vice Principal/Principal on teaching and administration matters, this role is a dedicated internal and external client service position, involving teaching, program development and client consultations.

Teaching
Planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of the centre.
Prepare and implement the programs for students.
Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids.
Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to work and play in.
Teach programs on weekdays and Saturdays for at least 45 hours per week.
Teach during school holidays.
Evaluate and maintain records of students’ development
Guide and supervise assistant teacher in the classroom.
To render basic first aid as and when necessary.
Be responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources.
Being responsible for the arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.
Attend all teachers meetings
Attend teaching courses, seminars and workshops to upgrade skills and knowledge.
Adhere to the teacher’s teaching guidelines.

Research, Writing and Program Development

Coordinate and research on Applications of MindChamps techniques/teaching methods to specific subjects.
Upgrade of the Study Programs, including course books, training materials.
Develop new programs

Requirements: Candidate must possess Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
