Details: Busy London based British Council school requires Director of Studies to lead our academic team during an exciting growth and development stage. We have two schools based in the centre and two in the west of London.
You will be responsible for;
• Management of teaching staff including teacher development, observations, recruitment and deployment. Management of courses, timetabling, course design and making sure the academic services are of a high standard and focused on meeting the needs of our students.
• The role involves dealing with student enquiries, student feedback and tutorials.
• Selection of teaching and learning resources with a given budget.
In this challenging role applicants should be DELTA qualified and have relevant experience in academic management. You should have strong leadership skills, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and have good IT knowledge.
You will lead through example and get the most out of your academic team whilst giving guidance and support.

Qualifications
University Degree + CELTA/DELTA or equivalent.
Preference given to those with experience.
Compensation
Between 30K - 40K dependent on qualifications and experience.
