Details: Bell Beijing is looking to recruit both EFL and management trainers to play a key role in the development of its new Training Centre in central Beijing. Applications are invited now for these posts becoming vacant next year.
Bell International and ZFK Education signed an agreement in 2006 to establish a high quality language/management training centre in Beijing and to work together in the long term to develop training centres in other cities in China.
Contracts are for 1 year with an annual salary to range between 102,000-150,000 Yuan, depending on qualifications and experience. Staff contracts are with Bell Beijing and will not be between individuals and Bell International.
Bell Beijing is located in the Dong Shi Si Tiao area of Beijing, with excellent facilities and resources, including interactive whiteboards in every classroom. All staff have access to computer terminals and internet in a well-furnished and friendly staffroom. Bell Beijing is jointly managed by ZFK Education and by Bell Global Partnerships, based in Cambridge UK. It provides quality language programmes for managers, technical specialists and other professionals in the private and public sectors, and pays special attention to blended learning development, in particular the development of self-access Learning Resource Centres (LRC). Working in conjunction with its sister company, Cambridge Pragmatix, it offers hybrid language/management courses in which language consolidation is linked to management themes such as assertiveness, developing proactive attitudes at work, managing time and priorities, negotiation and multi-cultural teams.

Bell Beijing trainers are required to:
• Report to the Bell Beijing Centre Director
•Be responsible for training and testing students, and all associated administrative tasks
• Teach for a maximum of 100 hours per month
• Teach at off-site locations as well as in the Training Centre, and, if required, to teach on short-term assignments in other parts of China
• Assist in developing training materials, particularly those for use with interactive whiteboards
Qualifications
Bell Beijing particularly welcomes recently qualified trainers that have a previous career in the corporate sector.
Essential qualifications and experience for language trainers
• RSA/UCLES Certificate in TEFL, or equivalent
• Degree (not necessarily language related)
• At least 1 year's EFL teaching experience, preferably with some China experience
• Experience in teaching English to adult learners, particularly in the corporate sector
Essential qualifications and experience for language/management trainers
• At least 3 years training experience in a corporate environment • Business background
• Degree (not necessarily language related)
• Certificate in TEFL or equivalent a plus
Essential personal skills and qualities
• Cultural sensitivity, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Ability to maintain accurate records, write student report and complete routine administrative tasks
• Ability to work flexibly with Chinese counterparts
Desirable qualifications, experience, and skills
• Experience of work in organizations outside the field of EFL - e.g.
business
• MA in TEFL, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent
• RSA/UCLES Diploma, or equivalent
• PGCE, or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Chinese
Compensation
1 or 2 years renewable contract. Salary range of 102,000-150,000 Yuan per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Flights, accommodation allowance, local medical insurance, and 6 weeks’ paid holiday per year are also included.
