Manager, SG Cares (Institutional Engagement) - Singapore

Responsibilities:
You shall provide support and assistance in the marketing and branding of SG Cares, help to attract and engage institutions* (IHLs, Schools, Corporates, SMEs, Govt Ministries & Statutory Boards) in community involvement / investment efforts to build greater social capital and to realize the goal of transforming SG Cares into the first stop for institutions in Singapore seeking volunteering opportunities.

*There are two Mgr, IE positions. This one focuses more on service learning / reshaping CIP in schools, engagement of volunteers from Institutes of Higher Learning, while also responding to community involvement requests from Govt Ministries & Statutory Boards and covering Corporate Engagement as the need arises.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Help to research and source for ideas and programmes to re-shape CIP in secondary schools
Assist in the development of presentation toolkit and education / promotional collateral
Plan and organize networking and engagement platforms for sharing of best practices in community involvement
Work with tertiary institutions on service learning projects nurturing youth in social leadership development and greater / continuing community involvement
Assist in the development and implementation of institutional engagement programmes, offering different levels of services based on respective organization’s needs and interests and providing input drawn from research on best practices in corporate engagement and service learning
Assist in the organizing and running of large scale annual SG Cares iconic volunteer event for volunteers
Assist in the planning and implementation of strategies to raise funds and sponsorship for SG Cares and other NVPC events

Secondary Duties:
Handle enquiries, brainstorm ideas for corporate engagement/programme development, preparing status reports, compiling and analyzing data, updating records, research, managing inventory of marketing collateral, corporate premiums, liaising with vendors, etc
Cover corporate engagement duties in the absence of the other Mgr, IE.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
Degree Holder; Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing will be useful.
Minimum 3 years experience in community involvement, employee engagement/giving, fundraising or sponsorships
Familiar with existing school CIP, connections / contacts with MOE, IHLs and secondary school principals / CIP Heads
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.
A customer service oriented mindset is required
Experience in the non-profit space, with knowledge and understanding of the needs and challenges faced by NPOs will be an advantage
Creative and enterprising, with the ability to put ideas into action
Experience dealing with youth / students will be helpful
Familiar with corporate sales and B2B marketing, along with some knowledge of CSR
