The IBA, Karachi seeks an experienced and dynamic person to fill in the position of Director Alumni, Public Affairs and Resource Mobilization. The person should have proven record of effective leadership in a similar function. The person will report to the Director IBA and will work closely with a subcommittee of the Board of Governors.
The selected candidate will help design and establish the function and will be responsible for agreed results. The position requires experience and personal skills to deal with leaders of business, industry and government sector.
The candidate should have a high academic and career track record. Excellent oral, written and social skills are necessary. The selected candidate shall be responsible to: (a) Design and implement a strategy and action plan for mobilizing funds from the private sector, philanthropists, businessmen, alumni to support IBA through Endowment Fund, Endowed Chairs, Scholarships, etc. (b) Develop annual targets and marketing plans to reach these targets.
(c) Publish regular on-line newsletters that keep the alumni informed about the happenings at IBA. Explore other benefit programs for alumni. (d) Set up free life time E-mail accounts at IBA portal for all alumni. (e) Maintain an updated electronic data base of alumni accessible to all.
(f) Involve the alumni in faculty recruitment, placements, project development, and attachments of the current students. (g) Manage an active communication program with the alumni, donors, general public, media etc. and also handle all public affairs activities of IBA.
