Details:easy english is a small school that was founded in 1994. We are located near the city center of Essen, just 30 kilometers from Duesseldorf. There are currently 10 freelance teachers cooperating with us. We believe that students have different needs and requirements when it comes to learning a foreign language and we are committed to flexibility in reacting to those needs by providing individually tailored courses. Therefore, no specific methodology is promoted at easy english and there is no fixed syllabus. Most of our courses take place in-company with a few courses taking place at the school. All freelance teachers are guaranteed 20 teaching hours/week (10 courses), though most teach more than 30 hours/week (15+ courses). We offer a variety of options, ranging from elementary to advanced level Business English, General English, Conversational and exam courses. Freelancers teach a mix of one-to-one and group courses (2-10 students) and almost all of our students are adults/business professionals who tend to be highly motivated and hard-working.

Qualifications Required: MUST be a native-English speaker
-MUST be at least TEFL/TESOL/CELTA qualified (online certificates will not be considered)
-MUST have at least 2 years EFL teaching experience
-MUST be willing to make at least a one-year commitment
-MUST be willing to travel to and from multiple course locations on a daily basis (in-city public transportation)
Preferred: Good German language skills
-Experience teaching Business English to corporate professionals at all levels
- valid international driving license
Compensation:The current starting rate for senior teachers is 16 euros per 45-minute teaching hour. Lesson preparation time is not paid.
-Normal travel time to courses is not paid. Teachers are compensated for work-related travel time in excess of 45 minutes one-way and for
work-related travel outside of Essen.
