Job Description
Teach 15 hours per week, during spring and fall semesters. All classes are taught during the regular school day (9:00-5:50).If needed, teach in the university’s language programs during intersession periods (payment made in addition to salary). Observe 5 office hours per week, and attend staff meetings as necess. Salary: 2.2 – 2.55 million won/month, depending on experience and qualifications. Any overtime work during the semesters is voluntary, yet is generally available for those who are interested. Classes taught in excess of 16 hours per week are paid at the rate of at least 30,000 won per hour. A 200,000 won/month housing stipend is offered to all teachers. For those who prefer university-provided housing, air-conditioned studio apartments are provided rent-free, with shuttle service running between the campus and apartments. New instructors receive a 400,000 won resettling allowance. Native English speaker 2) BA/BS degree (Master’s degree is preferred) from accredited four-year university. Preference given to majors in TESL, English, Education or related fields. 3) Applicants holding bachelor’s degrees must have least 3 years full-time university-level teaching experience; applicants holding master’s degrees must have at least 1 year full-time university level teaching experience
