Programme Director Electrical Technology (Power and Control) - Langfang - China

Responsibilities:
Provide active leadership of the Electrical Technology (Power and Control) course and ensure the growth and efficient operation of that the Electrical Technology department.
Direct overall course operational growth and development, and contribute to the professional image of the College.
Organise and assist with College promotional and recruitment activities as needed.
Supervise the establishment of the department; including, but not limited to, the set-up and commissioning of laboratories, development of curriculum materials, and recruitment and training of staff.
Liaise with the Singapore Institute of Technical Education on matters and issues pertaining to the Electrical Technology course.
Supervise course delivery and examinations to ensure they are conducted in accordance with College policies and procedures.
Deliver modules in the Electrical Technology course to impart practical skills and knowledge in installing, testing and maintaining electrical power circuits, systems, and equipment and electrical power control systems.
Assist the Academic Director or his representative in all academic matters.

Requirements:
Candidate must be willing to relocate to Langfang, China.
Academic / Professional Qualification: Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Qualification as a Registered/Qualified electrician is preferred.
Working Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in installing, testing and maintaining electrical power circuits, systems and electrical power control systems.
Language skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates).
At least 3 years teaching experience in the relevant field.
