Responsibilities:
Conduct sector analysis, identify workforce capability gaps and developmental needs
Plan, strategise and drive workforce developmental initiatives to build acompetent and professional ILTC workforce
Plan, develop and review strategies, systems, processes and support mechanisms for the development of the ILTC workforce.
Collaborate with industry stakeholders, public agencies and private training providers and partners to promote, coordinate, aggregate training demands for the community care sector.
Lead a multi-disciplinary team to conceptualize and develop the Learning Institute and its services to support the ILTC workforce.
Evaluate and improve sector’s capacity to deliver quality patient care for ILTC sector.
Undertake ad-hoc workforce developmental initiatives/projects as required
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field. Post-graduate qualifications in Human Resource Development or other professional training certifications would be an advantage
At least 8 year(s) of working experience specialising in Training and Development
Working knowledge of the WSQ framework is preferred
Possess Passion for training and able to work with stakeholders in the community care sector
A team player who can work well and network with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve objectives timely
Have a pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
Possess intellectual flexibility, socio-political sensitivity and a sense of reality in the context of complex issues and situations
Able to build organisational capability through delegation, building strongteams and creating a positive work climate
Able to lead in communication and consultation, engaging with a wide range of partners and stakeholders across agency and industry boundaries
Competent in MS Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
