Library Officer - Bukit Timah - Singapore

Job Description:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the school Media Resource Library
Operate the Library Automation System (LAS)
Catalogue and accession new library materials into the LAS
Provide in-depth loan, advisory and information services to pupils and teachers
Conduct school-based Library Programmes/Activities at the school and assist in Inter-school events
Coordinate with the Tenderer/book contractor in the procurement, selection and delivery of MRL print and non-print materials
Promote usage of the school MRL by organising reading activities such as conducting book sharing sessions, book review programmes, Library Week, quizzes

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma.
Library Management or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in - Bukit Timah.
Relevant experience in MRL/LAS
Possess good communication skills, able to multi-task and work independently
Meticulous and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
ATTRACTIVE SALARY based on qualifications and experience. 1 year contract renewable, 5 days work week.
